Part I   Product Performance & Technology

Tires upgraded using FlatZero equipment and FlatZero dedicated tire sealant are backed by authoritative third-party test reports and multiple related patent certificates.

Self-sealing puncture-resistant tires processed with FlatZero equipment have undergone professional testing by the National Tyre and Rubber Products Quality Inspection and Testing Center. These results are based on independent professional testing rather than manufacturers' internal tests or simple on-site nail puncture demonstrations.

To date, no issues such as air leakage after nail removal, coating separation, or abnormal wheel-balance performance have been observed in our testing and market applications. FlatZero-processed self-sealing tires have undergone rigorous testing and have received positive market feedback.

They are not a gimmick. When a compliant self-sealing tire is punctured in the tread by a nail or similar object, the internal sealing coating automatically surrounds the object and seals the puncture, helping maintain tire pressure.

It does not make a tire immune to every puncture, pressure loss, or structural damage, but it can significantly reduce roadside stops, tire changes, and rescue calls caused by common small tread punctures.

Liquid tire sealants are mainly temporary emergency solutions and may corrode wheels, affect wheel balance, damage sensors, and be difficult to clean.

FlatZero self-sealing tires use a tire-grade self-sealing coating applied to the inner liner. It automatically seals around a nail and can reseal after the nail is removed, without the need for conventional puncture repair in normal covered puncture conditions. The coating is designed to remain stable without corrosion or material slinging. Unlike temporary emergency sealants, it provides long-term protection throughout the tire's service life.

The self-sealing coating is at least 4 mm thick. Unlike some products, FlatZero maintains a 4 mm coating thickness toward the tire shoulder area as well, providing strong protective coverage.

Please note that the warranty coverage for self-sealing performance applies to the tread contact area.

After coating, one tire can reduce noise by approximately 1.5 dB. In tests conducted at 80–120 km/h, overall in-cabin noise was reduced by approximately 3–5 dB.

The self-sealing coating adds relatively little weight, and the estimated impact on EV driving range is approximately 2%, which is generally minimal in daily use.

Many EVs no longer carry a spare tire. After a puncture, the driver may otherwise need roadside assistance or towing. A self-sealing tire can seal common tread punctures immediately and help prevent air loss, reducing towing needs and lowering the risk associated with driving on an underinflated tire.

No. The coating is heat-resistant up to 140°C. Even during high-speed driving in hot regions such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East, it is designed to remain firmly attached despite high ambient and operating temperatures.

FlatZero self-sealing tire production follows a strict five-step process. The tire-grade self-sealing coating formulation is designed to provide strong peel adhesion to the tire body, helping prevent delamination under high-speed operating conditions.

It can effectively seal tread punctures caused by common road hazards such as nails and screws up to 6 mm (approximately 1/4 inch) in diameter. Thanks to the tire-grade self-sealing coating formulation, it can also protect against threaded screws up to 6 mm in diameter.

Please note that the self-sealing function applies only to the tread area that contacts the road. The shoulder and sidewall are outside the self-sealing coverage area.

Run-flat tires rely on reinforced, rigid sidewalls to support the vehicle for a limited distance at reduced speed after pressure loss. Their core function is to keep the tire from collapsing.

Self-sealing tires focus on preventing air loss. An internal coating automatically seals a tread puncture as it occurs and helps maintain tire pressure, while generally retaining better ride comfort and noise performance.

Once the FlatZero self-sealing coating is applied to the inside of the tire, its self-sealing performance can remain effective throughout the tire's service life.

The FlatZero self-sealing coating can reduce overall in-cabin noise by approximately 3–5 dB, with each tire contributing at least about 1.5 dB of noise reduction. The coating also helps absorb sound and vibration, contributing to a more comfortable ride.

[Gasoline/Diesel Vehicles] The FlatZero self-sealing coating adds approximately 1–2 kg per tire (roughly equivalent to 2–4 bottles of 500 ml water). For a vehicle weighing one to two tonnes, the effect on fuel consumption is very small—typically within 0.2 L/100 km—and is generally difficult to notice.

Self-sealing tires can also automatically seal small punctures and help prevent slow pressure loss. Since underinflation increases rolling resistance, maintaining proper tire pressure can help support stable fuel economy.

[Electric Vehicles] The estimated impact on driving range is approximately 2%, which is generally minimal in everyday use.

No. The FlatZero self-sealing coating is designed for an operating temperature range of -40°C to 140°C. It remains stable without melting, flowing, or detaching in hot climates such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia, while also resisting brittleness and cracking in extremely cold environments such as Siberia.

It is suitable only for tubeless tires and is not designed for tires with inner tubes. Applicable tire types include passenger car tires, truck tires, and motorcycle tires.

Part II   Product Use & Routine Care

It can be stored for up to three years while remaining effective. After processing, the tire should be sealed with stretch film to limit air exposure and help prevent rubber aging. Store under normal conditions away from direct light and rain.

No, provided the standard coating process is followed. The coating is applied while the tire rotates at a controlled speed, allowing it to distribute evenly along the inner surface. After the tire is mounted on the vehicle wheel, standard wheel balancing should be completed before installation.

No special maintenance is required. Simply check tire pressure regularly—at least once a month, before long trips, and whenever the TPMS warning light comes on—and inspect the tread for nails or other embedded objects.

Yes. Tire inner surfaces normally contain an anti-oxidation/release layer. This layer should be removed before processing so that the FlatZero self-sealing coating can bond more securely to the tire inner liner.

Whenever a tire is replaced or removed from the wheel, wheel balancing is required. Tires coated with FlatZero self-sealing material are no exception.

Because the coating adds material inside the tire, weight distribution may change. Precise wheel balancing must therefore be performed after installation; otherwise, vibration may occur at high speed.

No. The self-sealing function applies only to the tread area that contacts the road. The shoulder and sidewall are outside both the self-sealing area and the self-sealing performance warranty.

The sidewall has no self-sealing coating and has a different structural design. If damaged, it must be inspected by a tire professional and will usually require tire replacement.

Part III   Processing Equipment & Production Capacity

Processing consists of two main steps:

1. Spraying — Applying the coating to one tire takes approximately 50 seconds, depending on tire size.
2. Rolling/Curing — The tire rotates for approximately 4 minutes to allow the FlatZero self-sealing coating to set. The exact time varies with tire size and ambient production temperature.

Motorcycle tire sizes vary. Using a typical 14-inch tire as an example, spraying takes approximately 16 seconds per tire.

The system has one spraying station and 11 rolling/curing stations. With continuous production, one tire can enter as another exits, giving an average capacity of approximately 160 tires per hour, subject to actual operating conditions.

There are more than 300 passenger-car tire sizes. Excluding the smallest and largest sizes, a common 235/45R17 tire requires approximately 2 kg of self-sealing compound.

220 V and 380 V configurations are available. Equipment can be manufactured to match the voltage requirements of different countries.

Yes. The equipment can operate continuously for one week, 24 hours per day without shutdown, while maintaining normal operation.

Our machines use heavier-duty materials and a reinforced, weighted chassis, resulting in greater machine weight and stability. This improves durability and reduces excessive noise, tire movement, and vibration during operation.

A lighter, less stable machine can allow the tire to wobble during processing, which may affect weight distribution and lead to larger wheel-balance deviations in the finished tire. High-quality puncture-resistant tire production depends on precision manufacturing and carefully selected materials.

Yes. We provide a complete printed operation manual, full video training tutorials, and professional after-sales guidance. Under normal conditions, operators can learn the basic operation in about two minutes.

The control logic is intuitive, and routine operation as well as basic troubleshooting can be performed independently using the supplied documentation.

Passenger car tire sizes vary. Using a typical 17-inch tire as an example, spraying takes approximately 50 seconds per tire.

The system has one spraying station and three rolling/curing stations. The theoretical capacity is approximately 60 tires per hour, while actual production is at least about 40 tires per hour under normal conditions, subject to actual operating conditions.

When the package remains unopened and is stored under normal conditions away from direct light and rain, the self-sealing compound can be stored for up to three years.

Routine maintenance mainly involves keeping the equipment exterior clean. The compound tank is made of 5 mm thick all-aluminum material for efficient heat transfer, and the stable temperature-control system helps prevent carbon buildup caused by poor temperature control, reducing the risk of nozzle blockage.

We have been developing and manufacturing this equipment and self-sealing coating technology for 12 years. China's self-sealing tire technology is currently at a leading international level.

Our machines feature a modular design, allowing you to configure the system according to your required production capacity.

As your business grows, if the existing capacity can no longer meet demand, you do not need to replace the entire machine. Additional modules can be added to the existing system to increase capacity. This helps meet growing production requirements while significantly reducing unnecessary capital investment—one of the key advantages of our equipment design.

Part IV   Warranty & After-Sales Service

FlatZero provides a 12-month limited warranty for new equipment sold to the original business purchaser, beginning on the delivery date and in any event no later than 15 months after shipment.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, proper maintenance, and use of FlatZero-approved consumables. At FlatZero's discretion, defective parts may be repaired or replaced.

After the warranty period, FlatZero continues to provide lifetime free remote technical support. Our rapid-response support mechanism provides timely, practical assistance for technical questions and troubleshooting, helping minimize equipment downtime.

Yes. The equipment uses high-quality, globally standardized components. Common wear parts can usually be sourced locally from hardware or industrial-supply stores.

We recommend purchasing a complete spare-parts kit with the machine so that minor issues can be resolved quickly without waiting for an on-site technician. If a required part is unavailable locally, it can be purchased from our after-sales team at factory price, with freight paid by the customer. Our technical team will provide guidance throughout the replacement process.

The equipment is designed for an overall service life of 10–15 years. In actual applications, many customers' machines have operated continuously and reliably for more than 10 years without repair records, demonstrating long-term durability in the market.

The equipment uses highly reliable globally sourced components, and the average equipment cost is less than USD 1.27 per day.
